Pre-EBACE2014 Seminars Boost Overall Show Experience
Prior to the opening of this year’s EBACE, three day-long seminars have been scheduled, which are designed to enhance value for attendees at Europe’s premier business aviation event. On Monday, May 19, organizers are offering an EBACE Safety Workshop, EBACE International Aircraft Transactions Seminar and EBACE Cabin Crew Conference.
“These three pre-convention seminars are designed to augment the education program taking place during EBACE2014,” said Mike Nichols, NBAA vice president, operational excellence and professional development. “Each of the meetings takes an in-depth look at a specific area of interest to attendees, and offers an opportunity to delve deeper into specific subjects.”
EBACE Safety Workshop
Taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Geneva Palexpo Hall 1 and Geneva International Airport, the EBACE Safety Workshop was developed primarily for professionals in the business aviation community in Europe, in an effort to provide critical information and training that is directly related to human performance.
This seminar is neither aircraft- nor manufacturer-specific, and will include information that is applicable to any aircraft flown.
A separate payment and registration, which includes continental breakfast, lunch and workshop materials, but which does not include registration for EBACE, is required for this one-day event. There is a registration fee of $25 for NBAA and European Business Aviation Association members.
EBACE International Aircraft Transactions Seminar
The EBACE International Aircraft Transactions Seminar, which will examine current trends, challenges and opportunities facing the business aviation marketplace today, takes place from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Geneva Palexpo Hall 1 and Geneva International Airport.
Leading international experts will address transactional, financial, tax, insurance and operational issues, and engage the audience for an interactive program. Aircraft financiers, lawyers, brokers and other advisors in business aircraft transactions are invited to attend this seminar for educational and networking opportunities.
The registration fee for this one-day event is $595 for EBAA or NBAA members. This fee includes continental breakfast and lunch, seminar materials and registration to EBACE2014’s education sessions, exhibits and static display.
EBACE Cabin Crew Conference
Designed specifically to address issues of interest to flight attendants, the Cabin Crew Conference will look at concerns, explore solutions and discuss evolving trends in the sector. This session takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Geneva Palexpo and Geneva International Airport.
This annual event, presented by the European Corporate Flight Attendants Committee and the NBAA Flight Attendants Committee’s European Subcommittee, will include speeches, panel presentations and interactive sessions where those involved in the industry will be encouraged to share ideas, experience and information on issues such as safety, security, service and training.
A separate payment and registration, which includes lunch and conference materials, but which does not include registration for EBACE, is required for the event. There is a registration fee of $25.
