Notice: EBACE2014 to Have a New Registration Entry Point – Plan Accordingly
May 13, 2014
The entry point and exhibit hall layout for the 2014 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2014) will be different from previous years, so the show organizers have arranged for a new shuttle bus service, in order to ease access to EBACE for exhibitors and attendees. EBACE participants should be aware of the specific changes involved with the new shuttle service, so they can plan accordingly.
Unlike in past years, EBACE registration will be located in Palexpo Hall 4, the new main entrance to the show. Attendees, exhibitors and members of the press will need to enter EBACE through Hall 4 to obtain their badges for access to Exhibit Halls 4, 5 and 6. The new shuttle bus will deliver attendees to Hall 4 from its pickup point at the Arena building, located adjacent to Hall 7, and just outside the train station at Geneva International Airport. The shuttle bus drop-off point will be outside Hall 4, and on-site signage will direct attendees to the specific EBACE registration area.
The new shuttle bus will loop continuously between its pickup point outside the Arena building and its drop-off point outside Hall 4. That means, attendees arriving by train from downtown, or from the airport, will have continuous access to the new bus for drop-off outside Hall 4, or they can choose to walk from the airport train station stop directly to registration in Hall 4.
As an added transportation option, EBACE organizers have also arranged for the hotel shuttle buses that drop attendees at Palexpo to do so in front of Hall 4.
The nearly 500 exhibitors at this year’s EBACE will be located in Halls 4, 5 and 6, and the static display of aircraft at Geneva International Airport will be accessible from a stairway in Hall 6.
EBACE organizers will provide additional accommodations to individuals with disabilities who make their situation known to EBACE personnel. To make specific arrangements, please contact Cheryl Padilla, NBAA vice president, conventions and forums, administrative affairs, at (202) 415-1208.
