Stratajet

Jonny Nicol, Stratajet

Jonny Nicol is the founder and CEO of Stratajet, a real-time booking service for personal and business aviation founded in 2011.

A former RAF fighter pilot who left the British Armed Forces to became an entrepreneur, Nicols was named one of Aviation Week’s “Top 10 Leaders of European Business Aviation” at the 2016 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition. Prior to founding Stratajet, he developed computer systems used by Britain’s Ministry of Defence, which were later sold to Hewlett Packard’s EDS Defence.

Motivated by what he felt were inefficiencies in the traditional private aviation model, Nicols’ goal with Stratajet is to increase the industry’s accessibility so that more people can enjoy its benefits.
