EBACE2018 Education Sessions Highlight Innovation

Along with its role as Europe’s largest trade event focusing on business aviation, the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) is also the European business aviation industry’s largest education venue. EBACE2018 will continue this mission with a broad variety of informative sessions addressing a multitude of topics of interest to industry professionals.

Scheduled education sessions at EBACE2018 include a forum regarding the state of the European business aviation industry and the looming impact of “Brexit” on global business aviation operations; the emerging role of social media throughout the industry; access challenges to European airports; technological advances in the industry and operational safety and security.

“In addition to seminars addressing these important topics, we’re also pleased to announce the Innovation Zone, a dedicated venue on the exhibit floor hosting a wide variety of forward-thinking presentations,” said Róman Kok, communications specialist for the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), which co-hosts the event with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

The Innovation Zone will again host discussions about leading-edge ideas and technology throughout the business aviation industry. At EBACE2018, the area will feature an informative presentation on the expanded use of sustainable aviation jet fuel to reduce the industry’s environmental footprint.

Other Innovation Zone sessions will address the role of business aviation in times of emergency, ranging from natural disasters to geopolitical conflicts; exciting technologies to advance the “flying future,” including development of electric aircraft; and methods to engage millennials for their ideas on the future of sustainable personal air transport and the new ecosystem of mobility.

Prior to the official start of EBACE#2018, the International Aircraft Transactions Seminar takes place on 28 May. This seminar brings together experts in the field of aircraft transactions on topics ranging from the state of global markets, discussion panels on VAT, EU imports and exports and tax structures, aircraft sales transactions and global market environment.

On 31 May, the final day of EBACE2018, EBAA will host safety sessions that will address topics ranging from how to health-check your safety management system to a question-and-answer session on International Business Aviation Council standards.

Taking place 29-31 May in Geneva, Switzerland, EBACE2018 will bring together the world’s leading aviation manufacturers, Europe’s top business leaders and entrepreneurs to conduct business, discuss industry developments and trends and network with their peers.
