Dave JesseDave Jesse is CEO, Flight Data Services Ltd in the United Kingdom and manages subsidiaries in Phoenix and Singapore. He formed Flight Data Services (FDS) in 2000 to provide flight data monitoring (FDM) services to aircraft operators worldwide.

Jesse brings an open, collaborative approach to business. As a result, Flight Data Services has teamed with organizations including IATA and Rolls-Royce, both of which use Flight Data Services’ expertise to enhance services to their customers. Today, Flight Data Services processes thousands of flights per day for hundreds of customers around the world.

Prior to FDS, Jesse was chief systems engineer for BAE SYSTEMS‘ flight data group. He designed the first Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) to improve the safety of offshore operations during his time time at Bristow Helicopters.

Jesse is a chartered engineer; a rotary wing flight test engineer from the Empire Test Pilot’s School; a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology; an associate member of the Royal Aeronautical Society; and a graduate member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Jesse was a military helicopter flight test engineer, leading a group designing helicopter search and rescue (SAR) autopilots, before moving into avionics,. He has a bachelor’s of science degree in systems engineering from Bath University.
