Florian Eggenschwiler

Head of Innovation, Swissport

Florian Eggenschwiler is head of innovation at Swissport International, where his focus in on improving the airport ground experience through automation and digitalization. Swissport has been involved in several Blockchain initiatives including use cases such as baggage tracking or distribution of ancillary services.

Previously, Eggenschwiler was in charge of operations support for a ground handler at Singapore’s Changi Airport. He began his career in corporate mergers and acquisitions and corporate development at Swissport. He holds a master of arts degree in business innovation from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
