Giulia Mauri

Giulia Mauri is head of the aviation and transport department of Pierstone, an international network of law firms specializing in the regulated sectors of the economy including aviation and transport, IT/TMT, energy, water and healthcare.

Mauri has more than 15 years of experience in advising national and international clients on all aspects of aviation and transport-related transactions, including asset-finance and leasing, regulatory issues, carrier’s liability and dispute resolution matters.
Based in Brussels, Mauri assists and advises clients on European regulatory matters including the setting up of NGOs, trade associations and lobbying organizations.

Mauri is the co-chair of the Legal and European Affairs Committee of the European Business Aviation Association and an active member of the Industry Affairs Group of the European Regions Airlines Association.

She is recognized as a “leading individual” for aviation by the Legal 500 EMEA and recommended by “Who’s Who Legal: Aviation” for aircraft finance transactions.

Mauri is the co-editor of the EBAA Booklet on Business Aviation in Europe, publishes regularly on aviation and transport-related topics, and often speaks at major sector-specific seminars and events.

Mauri holds an LLM in international and European law from the Katholieke Universiteit of Leuven and a Diplôme d’Etudes Universitaires Français from the University Jean Moulin, Lyon III. She graduated with a law degree from Turin University, speaks fluent English, French and Italian, and has a working knowledge of Dutch. She is a trained mediator in aviation-related matters.
