Iris Riesen

Cat Aviation

Iris Riesen is account manager at Cat Aviation AG. She has worked in aviation for the past 35 years.

Riesen began her aviation career with an eight-year tenure at Swissair. She later worked in several capacities at Jet Aviation Business Jets Zurich, including flight dispatch, charter sales, operations manager and ground operations manager.

Riesen opened Jet Aviation’s first Asian Aircraft Management office in Hong Kong in 2001, which she led as director of operations through 2004. She studied Mandarin in Beijing’s BLCU prior to joining Business Aviation Asia (BAA), Hong Kong, as director of operations for the new start-up operator.

Riesen returned to Jet Aviation Business Jets Hong Kong as managing director from 2009 to 2015, when she returned to Switzerland to join Cat Aviation AG as account manager.

Riesen studied business administration in Berne, Switzerland.
