Luciano Luffarelli

Head of External Communications & Public Affairs, Piaggio Aerospace

Luciano Luffarelli is head of external communications and public affairs at Piaggio Aerospace. He is also adjunct professor in Issues and Crisis Communication at the Milan-based Università IULM.

Luffarelli began his professional career as a financial journalist. After being appointed international press officer at Olivetti, he served as head of communications at Autogrill in the food services industry, Allianz-Ras in insurance)and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena in the banking sector. After a gap year prior to joining Piaggio Aerospace, he worked as a communication advisor with various PR agencies.

Luffarelli recently graduated, magna cum laude, from the executive masters of science in communication management program at the Università della Svizzera Italiana and the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles, CA. He is a father to five children.
