Michael Singer

Michael SingerMichael Singer joined the EASA in Cologne in early 2007 after 16 years in the aviation industry. Prior to joining EASA, Singer worked for nine years as an authorized signatory in the office of airworthiness for a large European aircraft manufacturer.

During his time at EASA, he has worked in the certification directorate, first as a project certification manager and transitioned into management positions.

After the recent reorganization of the certification directorate, Singer was appointed head of the environment and propulsion systems department. He also serves as project manager of the “electrical & hybrid aviation project” of EASA, which was created in order to facilitate the introduction of new propulsion technologies for different aircraft categories.
