Attracting, Retaining the Next Generation of Industry Professionals Takes Center Stage at EBACE2019

Young professionals are out in full force at EBACE2019, and the industry needs more of them. “We’re competing with other industry sectors for skilled employees, particularly in the fields of technology, data and computing,” said EBAA Secretary General Athar Khan, stressing the need to tell the younger generation of the opportunities in business aviation. To that end, EBACE once again hosted a Careers in Business Aviation Day event on the last day of the show, in hopes of inspiring young people to come into the industry.

EBACE2019 is Open for Business

Business Aviation: Flying Into the Future on Sustainable Fuel

An industry-side commitment in sustainable alternative jet fuel (SAJF) is on display at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2019), with 23 aircraft on static display having flown to the show using the fuel. “This fuel is safe. It does not impact your maintenance. It does not impact your operation efficiency. It does not impact your performance of the aircraft,” said EBAA Chairman of the Board of Governors Juergen Wiese.
