A Showcase of Sustainability at EBACE2020

19 Feb. 2020

Attendees of this year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2020) will have a new opportunity to learn about the latest products driving improved environmental sustainability and efficiency across the industry.

Taking place Wednesday, 27 May at 10:00 am at the Innovation Zone on the exhibit floor, the Sustainable and New Product Showcase will spotlight environmentally friendly products and services in the business aviation industry.

“Environmental sustainability is a hot topic around the globe and in our industry, particularly across Europe,” said Meagan Keller, NBAA manager for conference and forum exhibits. “We wanted to provide a showcase for our attendees who are producing more efficient sustainable and products of which attendees may not even be aware.”

Building on other industry initiatives, including the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to power aircraft flying to EBACE2020, as well as the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this year, the Sustainable and New Product Showcase will allow companies from around the world will show their latest innovative products and services to attendees, as well as members of the press.

Keller pointed to sustainable interior materials, more efficient ground power units (GPUs) and software products to improve operational efficiency and curb waste as among the types of offerings to be showcased in the hour-long event.

“It’s important to note this showcase isn’t about learning what you can during an exhibitor’s five-minute presentation,” she added. “It’s about bringing added visibility and awareness of these products and services, and EBACE attendees and members of the press are encouraged to meet with showcase presenters afterward to learn more about their products.”

Taking place from 26-28 May in Geneva, Switzerland, EBACE2020 will bring together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation. Learn more about EBACE2020.
