ES and ETIAS Webservices Product Owner, eu-LISA

Lamiaa Albert joined the eu-LISA agency in May 2021 as Product Owner of the Webservices for the new EES (Entry/Exit) and ETIAS (the European Travel Information and Authorisation) systems. In her current position, she supports the carriers, the travel industry and the eu-LISA project teams on the implementation of EES and ETIAS systems.

Before starting with eu-LISA, she worked as Head of Security and Governments Projects with a private company leading the Passenger Data Transmission from carriers to various authorities in EU, connecting more than 200 airlines over multiple airports and systems. Albert gained a lot of travel industry knowledge and expertise from her past experience in Amadeus as Business Analyst and Project Manager. She complements her professional background with relevant IT academic activities with a post graduate engineer degree in “l’Ecole des Mines“, major in Microelectronics and Computer Science.
