EBACE2023 Career Day: Breaking into Business Aviation

Calling all high school, technical school and university students interested in learning more about the business aviation industry and the opportunities this industry holds for current and future job seekers!

With such a wide range of opportunities available, business aviation is an attractive industry for anyone interested in aerospace, technology, engineering, customer service, entrepreneurship and innovation.

But how can first-time job seekers break into the industry? What kinds of business aviation companies are seeking new entrants in the job market? What kinds of skills are most valued? What does a “typical” career path in business aviation look like?

This year, we’re excited to welcome as a keynote speaker Mack Rutherford. In August 2022, Rutherford broke the world record to be the youngest person to fly solo around the world at age 17. Rutherford received his microlight pilot’s license at age 15 and has flown across 52 countries and 5 continents. He is an inspiration for young people looking to make a career in business aviation. Learn more about Mack Rutherford.
