Mack Rutherford

Ed BolenMack Rutherford is a Belgian-British pilot who broke the world record to be the youngest person to fly solo around the world at age 17.

From the age of three, all Rutherford wanted was to be a pilot. As a child, he flew regularly with his family, who are all pilots, and eventually qualified for his pilot’s license in September 2020, at the age of 15 years and two months. At the time, this him the youngest licensed pilot in the world. He has since flown across 52 countries and 5 continents.

Through flying Rutherford seeks to inspire young people, showing them that they can pursue their dreams and achieve amazing things.
