Alberto Fernandez-Lopez

Alberto Fernandez-Lopez is aeronautical engineer who graduated from the Polytechnic University in Madrid. After spending the first years of his professional life in aerospace and aeronautical manufacturing companies, he moved to EASA in 2006. At EASA he started working in the oversight of design organizations and for the last 10 years has worked in EASA’s continuing airworthiness department participating mostly in rulemaking activities, where he was main author for the ‘Guidelines on the use of electronic documents, records, and signatures.’ He is also an expert on ground de-icing of aircraft.
