Hendrik Stannius
SAF Supply Operator, Air BP
Hendrik Stannius brings five years of highly relevant fuels sales and supply experience to his role. Appointed in March 2023, he is a SAF Supply Operator, based in Hamburg, Germany.
He is responsible for coordinating SAF supply and logistics in Northern, Central Europe; holding SAF supply and demand balance; implementing SAF sales and pricing strategy and SAF compliance reporting.
Prior to joining Air BP, Stannius was a commercial fuels sales negotiator at Shell Germany where he was responsible for the spot trading business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region) within a defined customer portfolio. Prior to that, he was employed at BP for five years, initially as a trainee before becoming a commercial analyst where he was responsible for the truck supply and logistics within aviation to airports and bulk customers in the DACH region. He gained additional valuable experience in BP’s Joint Venture business during that time.
Stannius holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the FOM University of Applied Sciences, Essen. He is fluent in German and English.
