Sebastien Borel

CCO, Lilium

Sebastien Borel is CCO of Lilium, developer of the world’s first electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet. He has 20 years of aerospace experience, serving in various leadership positions at Airbus and Honeywell. Borel joined Lilium from Honeywell where he was Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships, M&A and Licensing in Europe. Previously he was at Airbus, holding several senior management positions including Chief Commercial Officer of Airbus’ subsidiary NAVBLUE. Borel started his career in Denver, CO with Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, before joining an aerospace IT company in California. He also has commercial pilot licences and attended the French Merchant Navy officer academy.
