“We make furnaces for the heat treatment of different aircraft parts, for example turbine blades and parts for gas turbines,” said Stefano Quintini, area manager for TAV.

The Caravaggio-based company was founded in 1984 and has produced more than 700 vacuum furnaces, which are in use in more than 45 countries. Today they have 85 employees and a large supplier network.

This year, Quintini decided to exhibit at EBACE for the first time to meet potential customers among aircraft maintenance providers and parts manufacturers.

“This show could be good for us,” said Quintini, “I came with a lot of contacts for potential customers, for users of gas turbines, and a company that performs aircraft maintenance.”

Establishing long-term relationships is important for TAV, because it develops its technology in close collaboration with customers. “All our customers have different processes, so all our furnaces are custom designed.”
