The Air Charter Association champions standards and skills at EBACE25

The Air Charter Association (The ACA) brought valuable insights to the Innovation & Sustainability stage at EBACE25, hosting a trio of engaging sessions tailored to the air charter community.

With a focus on industry knowledge, professional development, and the evolving role of charter brokers, The ACA’s presence highlighted its ongoing commitment to raising standards and supporting its members across the air charter industry.

The programme opened with two thought-provoking discussions: ‘The Air Charter Market – Is Air Charter Growing or Shrinking?’ and ‘What Does an Air Charter Broker Do? Is It Still an Important Role in the Industry?’. These sessions offered attendees a timely market overview, touching on current trends and industry shifts before exploring the broker’s role in depth, reaffirming the value and expertise they bring to the air charter process.

The third and final session focused on training and professional development, with an interactive quiz that tested participants’ aviation knowledge – and offered the chance to win two tickets to The ACA’s prestigious Air Charter Excellence Awards, taking place in November 2025.

Training and development remain at the heart of The ACA’s mission. As the air charter industry continues to evolve, high standards, regulatory knowledge, and practical understanding are more important than ever. One of The ACA’s key priorities is supporting its members through accessible, comprehensive training, and promoting best practices across the industry.

The ACA’s Broker Qualification Programme is designed for charter brokers and commercial staff within charter operators, offering a structured learning path across three levels.

To date, the qualification has supported over 250 delegates across 25 countries and is accredited by CPD (Continuing Professional Development), ensuring it delivers measurable value.

The ACA’s sessions at EBACE25 reaffirmed the importance of investing in training, not just for individual career development, but to raise standards across the air charter industry as a whole.
