Shuttle Bus Access to the EBACE Static Display

Due to ongoing construction at Geneva International Airport, there will be no pedestrian access to the EBACE2019 static display of aircraft. Complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided to the new static display location, which is a two-minute ride from Palexpo’s Hall 7. Buses will run continuously from 0700 to 1900 each day from 21 May through 23 May. All buses are handicap accessible.

Public Transportation

EBACE attendees are encouraged to ask for their free Geneva Transport Card at their hotels to take advantage of Geneva’s easy-to-use public transportation system for the duration of their stay.

From the Cornavin Station to Palexpo:
The train ride is approximately 6 minutes with trains running every 10-12 minutes. Walk across the tramway and taxi area and enter the Cornavin Train Station through the main entrance on Place de Cornavin. Walk past the ticket office and take a right. Take your first left and another left up the escalator. Proceed straight to the train direction Geneva Airport. Depart train at the Geneva Airport stop and follow the signs to the Arena – Palexpo.

From Palexpo to the Cornavin Station:
Exit Halls 4, 5, 6 and walk outside past the Arena to the train station. Board train headed in the direction of Cornavin Station. Exit train at the Cornavin Station and proceed down the escalators and out the main entrance. Walk across the taxi and tramway areas to the EBACE Shuttle Bus with signage for your hotel.


Public Bus Service

In addition to the train, Geneva offers bus service (Bus no. 5) from the downtown Cornavin Train Station with a stop at Palexpo (for Halls 1-7) and at the Arena/Hall 7. The bus ride takes approximately 15 and 18 minutes.

  • No 10: *(Rive -Aéroport) stops at the airport, 10-minute walk to Palexpo
    (runs every 7 to 8 mins).
  • No 15 tram: *(Palettes – Nations) via P&R Etoile, Acacias, Station
    Cornavin, change at terminus « Nations » and then take No. 5 bus.
  • No 23: *Carouge — Aeroport—Palexpo
  • No 28: *Les Esserts – Aéroport – Palexpo – Jardin Botanique) every 20
  • Line Y *(Ferney-Voltaire – Palexpo – Aéroport – Val Thoiry)

Taxi Service

Taxis are available in front of Hall 1.

Visa Invitation Letters

Attendees from countries requiring visas to attend EBACE must have an invitation letter from authorities in Europe in order to obtain their visa. Attendees may request such letter by emailing Corina Stiubei ([email protected]). Please be advised that it will take approximately 7 to 10 business days to process requests. The invitation letter will then be sent to you via email.

Please note: Passports must be valid for at least six months after the date of your arrival in Switzerland.

Only registered attendees and exhibitors for EBACE2019 are eligible to request EBACE invitation letters.
