FAQ

General

Is EBACE26 cancelled?

Yes. EBAA has taken the decision to cancel EBACE26, which was scheduled to take place in Geneva from 2 to 4 June 2026.

Why has EBACE26 been cancelled?

This decision was taken after careful consideration of the commercial and market realities affecting the event. Despite meaningful changes to the EBACE concept for 2026, the event did not generate the momentum, support and confidence needed to proceed on a viable basis.

Why cancel the event instead of holding a smaller edition?

We believed it was more responsible to take a clear decision now than to deliver an edition that would fall short of the standards, relevance and market confidence expected from EBACE. Protecting the long-term credibility of the event required making that choice now.

Did external factors play a role?

A number of broader factors affected participation and confidence, including changing market dynamics, a competitive event environment and wider geopolitical uncertainty. However, the central issue is that the 2026 edition did not secure sufficient market support to justify proceeding.

For attendees

What happens if I was planning to attend EBACE26?

Registered attendees will be contacted directly by the EBACE team with information regarding their registration. Website updates and attendee communications will be used to make sure everyone has clear guidance on the next steps.

I already registered. What happens now?

Your registration will be cancelled as part of the event cancellation process. You will receive direct communication from the EBACE team setting out the administrative next steps linked to your registration.

Will my registration fee be refunded?

Yes. Registered attendees who have paid a registration fee will receive a refund. This process can take up to 5-14 days for the refund to be administered.

I have already booked travel and accommodation. Will EBAA cover these costs?

We understand that some attendees may already have incurred travel or accommodation costs. Those arrangements were made individually, so attendees should contact their travel providers, airlines or hotels directly to review the applicable cancellation terms. Our official housing partner Bnetwork will reach out to all individuals who have booked via them to discuss cancellation policies.

For exhibitors

What does this mean for exhibitors?

We recognise that this decision has serious implications for exhibitors who had already committed planning, resources and budget to EBACE26. Our immediate priority is to engage directly with each exhibitor and manage the next steps in an orderly and responsible way.

How will exhibitors be informed about next steps?

Exhibitors are being contacted directly by EBAA. Follow-up will take place on an individual basis, as the practical implications may differ depending on contractual status, services booked and the stage of each exhibitor’s preparations.

What happens to exhibitor contracts and bookings?

All exhibitor arrangements are being reviewed directly with the relevant parties. EBAA will address the operational and contractual implications with each exhibitor individually.

About the future of EBACE

Does this mean EBACE is over?

No. This decision concerns the 2026 edition. EBAA remains committed to future events and to ensuring that their long-term direction and future formats reflect the needs of the European business aviation market.

Will there be an EBACE in 2027?

EBAA will continue working on the best ways to bring the industry together and support the sector through the right initiatives, platforms and forms of engagement. The future of EBACE is part of that wider reflection, and any next steps will need to reflect what the market and the industry genuinely need.
