EBACE2017 Opens Next Month: Don’t Miss Europe’s Biggest Business Aviation Event
As the largest European show focused exclusively on business aviation, the 2017 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2017) promises to bring together all the latest aircraft and aviation equipment manufacturers, industry and government leaders and more. New Static Display Location Debuts at EBACE2017
A new location for the EBACE2017 static display location will debut in May, due to construction on the Geneva International Airport passenger terminal. Attendees will now take a 2-minute, complimentary shuttle ride from Hall 7 of the Geneva Palexpo to the new static display location. “There is no other European venue that allows business aviation professionals to see so many aircraft types in one place, comparing different models side-by-side, and this year’s new location will make the static display even more convenient for attendees,” said Joe Hart, NBAA’s director of static displays. Three European Business Aviation Trends in View at EBACE2017
While the U.S. is seeing a resurgence in business aircraft ownership, Europe has seen more narrow growth. Demand for ultra-long-range aircraft has remained strong, and light jet activity was up 10 percent in 2016 over 2015. “What we’re seeing in Europe in terms of online brokerage is actually somewhat ahead of North America, and appears to be succeeding in creating a genuine spot market,” said Richard Koe, managing director of WINGX Advance, who is presenting a session on business aviation trends in Europe at EBACE2017, during the International Aircraft Transactions Seminar on 21 May.
