Sven Rieve

Aviation Sustainability Advisor, Air bp

Sven Rieve is Air bp’s newly appointed Sustainability Advisor with a remit to expand Air bp’s low carbon agenda and drive further growth in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) sales to customers.

Rieve joined parent company bp in 2012 as part of the dual study program gaining valuable experience across a number of departments including sales, marketing, communications, credit management and supply and logistics before moving to Air bp in 2016. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in supply and logistics and product support. Most recently he held the position of Supply and Logistics Coordinator where he was responsible for delivering strategic projects for Air bp’s Central Europe cluster including SAF activities and its market entry into Germany.

Rieve, a German national, is based at Air bp’s Hamburg office and holds a Master’s Degree in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Science and Management from Nordakademie, Elmshorn.
