EBACE2019 Lands in Geneva in Two MonthsEurope takes center stage in the business aviation industry in May, when the 2019 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2019) opens. As the largest European show focused exclusively on business aviation, EBACE2019 promises to bring together all the latest aircraft and aviation equipment manufacturers, industry and government leaders and more. Going to EBACE2019? Organizers Offer Tips for Managing ExpensesCentrally located in Europe, and home to more international organizations than any other place in the world, Geneva continues to be an ideal site for Europe’s biggest business aviation event of the year. “EBACE is held at the magnificent Palexpo convention center, conveniently located adjacent to Geneva International Airport (GVA), making it easy for attendees to come for a single day of the show if they wish,” said Chris Strong, NBAA senior vice president, conventions and membership. Expanding Horizons Initiatives in Focus at EBACE2019Launched in 2018 by EBAA, the #ExpandingHorizons initiative aims to spread recognition of business aviation as a pioneering, accessible, indispensable and desirable transportation option throughout Europe. These messages will also be showcased throughout EBACE2019. Signage and marketing featuring individuals working throughout Europe’s business aviation community will be displayed throughout EBACE2019. This includes portraits of the 10 ambassadors who represented the European business aviation industry last October at the renowned One Young World Summit at The Hague, Netherlands, according to EBAA Strategic Communications Advisor Taunya Renson-Martin. Industry Continues Support for Alt-Fuels at EBACE2019Sustainable alternative jet fuels (SAJF) are expected be in focus as never before in conjunction with EBACE2019, illustrating the industry’s long-standing commitment to reducing its already small emissions footprint. SAJF initiatives to be held in tandem with EBACE2019 include SAJF-powered flights from multiple European airports, a dedicated SAJF day at TAG Farnborough Airport, discussion about SAJF at the 2019 EBACE Media Luncheon on 20 May and a 21 May panel in the show’s Innovation Zone focused on SAJF.
