Bruce Parry

Bruce Parry is an experienced sustainability and environmental professional who has worked within the aviation industry in a variety of capacities supporting these subjects for more than twenty years.

As Senior Advisor, Industry Affairs for Bombardier, Parry represents Bombardier as liaison with the industry and represents the organisation at all levels focusing on key stakeholder groups for the business aviation sector including civil aviation agencies, trade organisations and other key industry bodies on a wide variety of industry subjects.

Prior to his current role at Bombardier, Parry held roles as Senior Environment Manager for the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and Environment Director for the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) concurrently. Parry has represented business aviation at a variety of levels, both from a European and international perspective on environmental and sustainability matters. He served as UN Observer on behalf of IBAC and the business aviation community at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) within the Committee on Aviation and Environmental Protection (CAEP).

With a background in environmental engineering, and working for both Airbus and Bombardier, Parry’s experience extends from environmental requirements and considerations in aircraft product development to corporate social responsibility and sustainability. He also contributed to the development of the original and subsequent updates to the Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change (BACCC) and the process to develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for commercial and business aircraft. Parry holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Quality and Resource Management from the University of the West of England in the UK.
