Charles Etter is a staff scientist/technical fellow at Gulfstream with responsibility for environmental strategy and regulatory affairs.

Charles Etter is an engineer and environmental strategist who has dedicated his career to business aviation sustainability. During a career spanning 30 plus years, he has focused on environmental topics, such as aircraft noise, emissions and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

He serves as a technical advisor to the International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industry Association (ICCAIA) and International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) on environmental topics.

For the past 14 years, Etter has also worked closely with renewable fuel experts from around the world and has been instrumental in bringing SAF to Gulfstream. He was recently recognized by Corporate Jet Investor as one of 2022’s most influential people in sustainable business aviation.
