Chief Commercial Officer, TAG Aviation Europe

After five years working in the Swiss finance sector, in 2014 Karl Mills decided on a career change by moving back to the UK and into the aviation industry with bespoke airline leasing brokerage, ACC Aviation. He then joined TAG Aviation as a Charter Sales Executive and subsequently transitioned towards a more direct client focus, becoming Area Sales Manager for the UK business development team.

Mills immediately began instigating innovative business practices and procedures within the charter sales business and as a result, he was made Charter Manager UK in 2018, overseeing new and existing client revenue generation.

In 2020, Mills become Director of Sales, TAG UK, a role in which he was responsible for developing the UK Charter business as well as the company’s aircraft acquisition and aircraft management activities. His success in these fields resulted in his promotion to Chief Commercial Officer in June 2022.
