Chief Commercial Officer, Flying Group

Konstantijn Huys

Konstantijn Huys is a self-employed air transport strategist and planner, currently active as Chief Commercial Officer of Flying Group.

Next to the awe and wonder he had for aviation during childhood, his passion for the air transport industry kindled during his university studies Business Administration and Engineering with a major in Transport Economics and Logistics at the University of Antwerp. In order to expand his knowledge of this industry he subsequently obtained a second Master’s Degree in Airport Planning and Management at Cranfield University.

Over the last 15 years Konstantijn has been involved with airlines, airports and consultants in several countries, gaining experience in process and strategy development, holistically unifying stakeholder interests and translating plans into concrete business performance improvements. Until he joined Flying Group, he generally worked on business models and commercial strategies for airlines and airports in the scheduled aviation context. Now as Flying Group’s CCO, Konstantijn’s main responsibilities are focussed on the commercialisation of the private aircraft charter fleet, the Flying Partners shared ownership program, spearheading sustainability initiatives and managing the company’s marketing and communication efforts.
