Chief Science Officer, Azzera

Sébastien Lacube is the Chief Science Officer at Azzera, responsible for driving the company’s strategy in carbon accounting, mitigation, and sourcing of methodologies and technologies based on the latest available science.

With an MSc in Environmental Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Modelling, Lacube has spent 10 years studying climate change modeling and performing risk assessments for various sectors. This scientific background brings integrity and impact to Azzera’s solutions. Recently, he spearheaded the development of the Azzera Impact Score, a science-based approach to assessing and selecting high-quality, climate-positive projects.
