Principal Engineer, Gulfstream Aerospace

Tom LandersTom Landers is a principal engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace, with over 35 years of experience in aerospace. He led the Control Law design team for the G650 fly-by-wire flight control system and helped develop Gulfstream’s Predictive Landing Performance System.

Landers currently works in Gulfstream’s Flight Sciences Department helping develop and certify future technologies.

Before joining Gulfstream, Landers was at Calspan Corporation, working on experimental fly-by-wire control systems and was the software lead during the development of what is now the X-62 Variable Stability test aircraft.

Landers has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and is a licensed pilot.
